Member,In this second edition of Inside Edge we focus on benefits available to members from Union Plus.
Everyone knows that the core business of the union is to negotiate and enforce good contracts for members, which we do through negotiations and grievance work. Additionally, we dedicate funds from dues money to address issues pertaining to safety, scheduling, hotels, and many other aspects of our working lives.
The benefits of Union Plus are somewhat unique in that we are able to offer these to you without spending any funds from dues money. This is possible because Union Privilege (which is affiliated with the AFL-CIO) makes all arrangements with each of the listed vendors. The priority in our negotiations with these vendors is to ensure solid member value and the widest range of unique benefits and features at competitive prices.
Hopefully, you will have a few moments to "click" through the Union Plus website and find products you want at desirable prices.
